Welcome to the Palms Productions
website. 2008 was a busy year for us. We've brainstormed
our minds out for future ideas and projects. Here's to an awesome 2009, with even more ideas & books to come.
Comic News
The Uni-Toons are
one of the most popular comics we have. The comic has been around since July 23, 1998. 10 years later, they
are still as popular as ever. 4 books are now available.
The Force Team Chronicles
have taken off again as well. Issue 5 takes us back to Turtlus for two adventures. Chapter 9 introduces everyone
to the shaman Bayou, who is being held captive by a group of trolls. Chapter 10 has TK & his crew on Turtlus
battling the evil Cangrejo, as well as introduces the characters of Octave & Splash. 4 books are now available. Also check out the new Gemini T-shirt.
Onryou is finally
available! Jacob is the creative mind behind this new story, featuring the adventures of a sword-toting teenage samurai.
Onryou debuted in Coconuts #1, & issue #1 is now being drawn. Until then, get to know Onryou with his very own T-shirt.
Star Child features a young girl named Me-Ran-Da.
She is from another planet, and gets stranded on Earth in Roswell, New Mexico. This comic is planned to be a humor/slice-of-life
type story. Issues #1 & #2 are now available
Butterfly is the story of a female ninja
who gets zapped into the present by accident. This is another project created by Jacob Hicks, who created Onryou.
Butterfly debuted in Coconuts #1, but will get her own book.
Aftermath debuted originally in Comic Quest Showcase
#2. The story follows a young girl named Sierra Daniels, who gets caught up in an explosion and spends 5 years
in a coma. When she wakes, she discovers her DNA was altered, and her hands can burst into flames, but is there more
to her new powers. The 1st book is now available, with Issue #2 on the way.
Coconuts is the newest book in Palms stash.
Along with Crimson & Clover, & Renegade, there are 5 new comics. Discombobulated Platypus, The Misadventures
Of Life, Clue Club, Ninja Pizza, & Mangled Mascots. Book 1 is now available. Look for Issue #2 to be available
soon.
96th Street is a story about an end-time preacher
who hacks the internet to deliver his messages. This comic is loosely based on the events that happen during the Bible
book of Revelation. Join Hacker, Ceno, Gideon, & Boomer as their sci-fi adventures begin in 2009.
Paranormal Life is the story about a team of
Paranormal investigators on different cases. The comic is created by Onryou/Butterfly creator Jacob Hicks. So
far the story is still in development. Please check back soon here or on the Palms Blog for future updates.
The Whisper Door is a kids story about a 5-year-old
boy named Jacob, who receives a magical icecream bar, which allows his toys to come to life, & creates a magical make-believe
world for him to explore. A 5 page preview of the comic debuts in the Comic Quest publication "The Scoop", which is
available May 2nd, 2009!!!
Captain Anteater is another kid friendly comic
that is currently in the works. The superhero-themed comic is a spin-off of the Clue Club, which is featured in the
Coconuts books. This book will be released at a later date.
The Legend of Rainsong is currently a project in the
works. The comic is a modern day retelling of the Prodical Son parable, & stars a Blue Clan Cherokee by the name
of Jacy "Rainsong" Rhodes. Check back later for more updates.
Paulette Revere is
yet another new idea that features a superhero during the American Revolution. Paulette is the "First lady of Liberty."
